Here is the posting on "What's Happening Minnedosa"
Hello Neighbours!
Beginning May 21, the Waves of Hope dragon boat team will practice on Minnedosa Lake. Practice time is 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday, with the odd Tuesday sometimes thrown in for training sessions.
We are excited to be back on the lake, but would like to remind everyone that, as the lake becomes busier with boats and sea-doos, a large wake of water near the dragon boat may cause us to capsize.
The Waves of Hope boat has 22 women in it, all of whom are survivors of, or supporters of, breast cancer. We want to ensure the lake remains a fun - and safe - environment for all, and we look forward to seeing everyone this summer!
