Waves of Hope is hosting a "Come N Try" Paddling Event at Dinsdale Park at
1st Street in Brandon for all breast cancer survivors on Wednesday August 11, 5:30 - 6:30pm Paddles, life jackets and after paddle refreshments will be supplied.
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED TO MINNEDOSA DUE TO THE HIGH WATER ON THE ASSINIBOINE RIVER. MEET AT THE MINNIDOSA DOCK AT 6:30 OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CAR POOL BE AT THE PETRO CANADA PARKING LOT (HWY # 1 AND 1ST STREET) AT 5:15. Waves of Hope will be participating with the Breast and Women's Cancer Network in the
"Link to Pink" program where ladies across Western Manitoba are given a free pink carnation and awareness information about breast cancer.
In conjunction with this, Waves of Hope will be at the Brandon Shoppers Mall
with our display board, video, awareness information and free pink carnations for all ladies that visit the booth.
Please drop by for information on breast cancer and the possibility of joining our team. |
